Used for exterior carpentry, it can also be used for interior hardwood floors as it is resistant to scratches and is thus perfect for highly trafficked areas. What differentiates Cumaru from other hardwoods is its unique and exquisite coloring. With a medium to dark brown coloring, it has a reddish hue that is becoming ever more popular amongst architects and designers. This hardwood is also known as Brazilian Teak.
